The Picture Book with No Pictures (Yet) A
Journey to the Land of Imagination
Children book review by Barry Ferguson -
The Picture Book
With No Pictures (Yet) is a
wholly original book from the incredibly creative mind of T. H. Alanna. What
she has been able to do is create a story that totally involves the reader so
they become part of the story. Children love to use their imagination and this
book allows them to take the story wherever they want it to go. It is
engrossing for the reader and gets them involved in the process of the
storytelling.
Beyond the creative part of the book, the story is a classic tale that is well written, well thought out and well designed. While most picture books are written for a passive audience, this is a book to stimulate the imaginations of every child who reads it. The story will be different for every reader based on what type of pictures they want to put inside which helps them enjoy the story even more.
Overall a great little story and the most intriguing concept I have seen in a children's book in a long time!
